AADHAAR is the document one can use it anywhere for all type of verification purposes. Now we don’t need to use different identity proofs at different places just an AADHAAR is enough for it. Nowadays over 88% of the population has already enrolled for AADHAAR card. But recently due to some circumstances, the UIDAI government has deactivated some AADHAAR enrolments. According to a news source 81 lakh Aadhaar numbers has been deactivated due to different reasons. Some for not having the proper documents, some for not having other id proofs and other for other reasons.
In these cases, one can check whether their AADHAAR number is activated or not by itself only. The AADHAAR status can be checked online anytime, anywhere. It is also necessary to check timely whether the Aadhaar is activated or not as it is one of the crucial documents today.
If you hired someone in your office you can also check and verify his/her aadhar card online by UIDAI portal. One can know whether their Aadhaar is valid or deactivated online. Just a few simple steps and you are done.
Following are the steps by which one can check whether the Aadhaar is active or not:
=> First, visit the official website UIDAI.gov.in or type the URL https://resident.uidai.gov.in/aadhaarverification in the address box.
=> A new window will be displayed. After that enter your Aadhaar number or the UID code imprinted on the Aadhaar card.
=> Enter the security code that was given at the side.
=> Click on verify.
=> When you click verify, a verification process is done and you will get a screen displaying “your Aadhaar number still exist” if your Aadhaar number is active and if one’s Aadhaar is deactivated you will find that the display appears a dialog box saying “particular number does not exist”.
In case, your Aadhaar number does not exist you may get to the nearest Aadhaar enrolment center and can apply for the Aadhaar again with all the documents required.
