The following steps are given below to check status by self.
=> Go to the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in
=> Then find “Aadhar Update” tab and click on the link of Check Status – Updation done Online
=> You need to enter few details to check the status, first Aadhaar card number which is 12 digits number that can be found on your card and second you need to enter the URN/SRN number which was given to you when you applied the changes in aadhar.
=> Click on the Get Status button
=> Then your update status will be appearing on the screen.
=> If not then please wait some more days it might be in under review. Generally it takes around 15 days but some time it can take more days.
=> And it it is rejected then apply for the new one or visit to the nearest aadhar enrolment centre for more details.
On the other hand, If you have done the changes from your nearest aadhar enrolment centre and don’t have time to visit there you can follow the below steps to check the correction status:
=> First click on this link: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar-status
=> Now check your acknowledgement slip that you have got from aadhar centre after the update or correction.
=> After clicking on the link you will land on a page where you need to enter Enrolment ID (EID) and Date/Time from your acknowledgement slip.
=> after filling the details enter the captcha code into the box and click on the check status.
=> Now the status will appear on your screen go and collect it from your aadhar enrolment center on download adhar at home.

Now you will see two option “I have* Enrolment Id or Aadhaar”. Now you can mention enrolment id or Aadhaar number there which you have on that time. Now also feel other details.
After entering the captcha code you will get a OTP on your registered mobile number, enter that number in OTP section and download the aadhar.
