- To begin with the process, you need to go to the UIDAI Website and the link of the website is uidai.gov.in. This website has all the services related to Aadhaar card.
- Once you are on the website, you need to find the link for “Check Aadhaar Status”. This can help you in checking if your Aadhaar card has been generated or not. The link is mentioned on the homepage and the URL of this is https://resident.uidai.gov.in/check-aadhaar-status
- Now, on the new page, you need to enter the enrolment ID along with the date and time mentioned on the enrolment Slip.Also, enter the security code from the image before clicking the submit button.
- The status of the Aadhaar card will now be displayed on the screen and you will now know if the Aadhaar card has been generated for you.
It should be noted that it can take upto 3 months for the Aadhaar card to be generated and if the Aadhaar card has been generated then you can also download the copy of Aadhaar card from the UIDAI portal. The copy can be used like the normal Aadhaar card for verification and KYC purpose.
