Aadhaar card is the 12 digit Unique Identification number as allocated by the Government of India. Aadhaar card is therefore made mandatory for many significant tasks. In case you have misplaced or lost your Aadhaar number you can still retrieve the same easily.
Aadhaar card download without Aadhaar number
-} Click on the link https://resident.uidai.gov.in/web/resident/find-uid-eid
-} Now on the left hand side you can see two option under “You want to retrieve your lost” – Aadhaar number (UID) or Enrolment Number (EID).
-} Select Aadhaar number (UID)
-} Enter the details as are required in the fields such as Name, registered email id or mobile and the code as mentioned in the box.
-} After you have entered these details, you must click on “Sent OTP” which is located at the bottom of the page.
-} You would now receive your One Time password on your registered mobile number which you need to enter in the box on the right hand side and click on Verify OTP.
-} You would now receive your Aadhaar card number on your mobile phone. If you wish you can even download your Aadhaar card in the digitalized form as well.
You can now use this aadhaar card number to download the electronic copy of your aadhaar card. You can follow the below mentioned steps for the same:
-} You can select the option – ‘Download Aadhaar’ wherein you will get redirected to new page.
-} You would now need to punch in few details such as your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID, your complete name, pin code.
-} Hit “Get OTP” and receive it on your registered contact number. Punch in the OTP and now you would be able to download the electronic copy of your Aadhaar card on your computer system.
-} You will receive the same in the PDF format which is password protected. You can open the same with the help of mentioning first four letters of your name and the birth year.
-} In case you are not able to receive the OTP you can also verify the same in the options available.
